Don’t Be Fooled by “Fat Burning Furnace” Scams
With the tremendous popularity of The Fat Burning Furnace, it is no surprise that copycat diets and scams are appearing. Many of these Fat Burning Furnace scams require that you purchase expensive supplements. The scams promise to burn fat almost like magic – these imitators are jumping on the Fat Burning Furnace bandwagon without the proven track record of the genuine article. They’re expensive, and some can even be hazardous to your health.
Many Fat Burning Furnace scams require the purchase of expensive supplements. While certain foods can definitely help burn fat naturally, taking a supplement that promises to boost your metabolism doesn’t work. These supplements are sold at specialty health food stores, drug stores and even big box retailers. These are usually powders or pills, and they often contain ingredients such as:
Chitosan: which is extracted from crustacean shells and is used commercially as a plant food and biopesticide. Chitosan promoters claim it ‘binds’ with fat so your body absorbs less lipids.
‘Ephedra-Like’ supplements. Ephedra itself is illegal in the U.S. An herb traditionally used to treat colds in Chinese medicine it was very popular in the early 2000’s. A dangerous stimulant linked to several deaths, it was banned in 2004. Due to Ephedra’s popularity, other ‘ephedra-like’ supplements are now promoted including Bitter Orange; bitter orange is also based on Chinese medicine. You can buy a pure bitter orange supplement today, but traditional treatments for appetite suppression always combined the herb with other substances. Bitter orange has been linked to angina attacks, strokes, and colitis.
HCA also has a long history of being used in Indian medicine for suppressing appetites. It is derived from the fruit Garcinia cambogia, and is purported to block the storage of fat in your body.
Pyruvate, is derived from pyruvic acid. Promoters claim that it boosts metabolism, but medical professionals state that the dosage needed to be effective is dangerous to your health.
While simply taking a pill to burn fat sounds appealing, don’t be fooled by scams. None of these supplements are as effective as The Fat Burning Furnace program of nutrition and exercise.
